Refund Policy:

If VF Services (Canada) Inc is in breach of contract or negligent in relation to any visa application submitted, resulting in the visa not being granted or loss of applicants passport with valid visas, in each case, wherein the applicant has to apply for a new passport or cannot travel to India at the times stated by the applicant in his/her visa application, then VFS will refund to the applicant the amount of the visa application fee only.

Loss or damage to passports and other travel documents

VF Services (Canada) Inc takes every reasonable precaution while handling an applicant's passport & documents, and if due to any breach of contract or negligence on the part of VF Services (Canada) Inc, the applicant's submitted passport or documents are lost or damaged beyond a useable condition, then VF Services (Canada) Inc will pay to the applicant the amount of the fees charged by the government of the applicant's home country, for the replacement of the lost or damaged passport or other documents through their normal replacement procedure, and VF Services (Canada) Inc will assist the applicant with the same within its capacity. Such payments will be made by VF Services ( Canada ) Inc to the applicant on the presentation of the payment receipt issued by the government of their respective home country for the replacement of such lost or damaged passport or documents.

How to claim compensation

  • To make a claim for a refund please visit or write to VF Services (Canada) Inc. at any of the following locations http://in.vfsglobal.ca/timing.aspx.  The person making the claim must be one of the applicants who have applied for our services.
  • Claimants must supply their name and contact details, the names of other applicants being claimed for and their contact details, reference numbers and details of the reason for which the refund is being applied.
  • VF Services ( Canada ) Inc. will give you a resolution if you are to receive a complaint within 24hrs and in case you are not eligible VF Services ( Canada ) Inc. will give you a reason as to why you are not eligible.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for any of the rights listed above applicants must have applied for a Visa service via VF Services ( Canada ) Inc. If you do have any complaints regarding your ability to exercise your rights, please contact our customer relations department. In the event that your complaint is still not answered to your satisfaction, you may contact the Consulate General of Canada in your respective regions where you have applied for a visa application.
