Welcome to the website of the Indian Visa and Consular Services Centers in Canada

The Indian Visa and Consular Services Centers are authorized by the High Commission of India/ Consulates General of India in Canada, to accept applications for Visa, Passport, Overseas citizenship of India (OCI), and Persons of Indian origin card (PIO), collect application charges and returning documents to applicants.

All applications will be assessed and decided by the visa and immigration office at the High Commission of India/Consulate General of India in Canada

Indian Visa and Consular Services Centers are managed by VF Services (Canada) Inc. The decision to grant or refuse a visa is made solely by the officers at the High Commission of India/ Consulates General of India in Canada. Staff members of VF Services (Canada) Inc. have no role or influence over the outcome of an application.

You must submit your application, based on your jurisdiction. Click the location on the map where you are applying from to find out where you need to submit your application.

Please Note

  • Please ensure that you do not finalize your travel plans before receiving the service for which you have applied for.
  • The High Commission & Consulates follow a mix of prescribed Indian and Canadian holidays. The VFS Centers do the same. To ensure that you do not visit the office on a closed holiday, check the holiday schedule of the VFS Consular Services where you are applying before visiting it.
  • Processing times vary depending on various considerations. Please check relevant processing times.
  • OCI and PIO cards cannot be issued on an emergency basis; apply for a visa instead if you do not have time to wait for OCI/PIO to be processed.
  • Services are granted at the discretion of the Government of India. Fees are not refundable even if services applied for is refused after processing.

All visa applicants should invariably be present in Canada on the date of filing the application and their passports should be valid at least for 190 days. Applicants are solely responsible for the applications they submit. Any false documents or other misrepresentation of information in support of their application will have a direct bearing on the judgment of their application by the High Commission of India and its Consulates in Canada.
